Description
Bridgham, a village and a parish in Norfolk, on the Thet river, 2 1/2 miles SW of Harling-Road station on the G.E.R., and 6 E by N of Thetford, under which there is a post office; money order and telegraph office, East Harling. Acreage of parish, 2734; population, 294. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich; net value, £189 with residence. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church, a building of brick and stone in the Early English style, has a Norman porch, and is good. There is also a Wesleyan chapel.
