Description
Reston, South, a parish, with a village, in Lincolnshire, 2 miles NNE of Anthorpe station on the East Lincolnshire section of the G.N.R., and 6 SE of Louth. Post town and money order office, Louth; telegraph office, Authorpe railway station. Acreage, 803; population, 203. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net value, £61 with residence. Patron, the Duchy of Lancaster. The church was rebuilt in 1865, and is a building of stone and red brick in the Geometrical Decorated style. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
