Oxcombe, a parish in Lincolnshire, on the Wolds, 6 miles NE by N of Horncastle station on the G.N.R. Post town, Homcastle; money order office, Scamblesby; telegraph office, Horncastle. Acreage, 1015; population, 33. The property belongs to the Whitworths, who are also lords of the manor. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; gross value, £153. The church is a neat small building of brick and stone in the Decorated style, and consists of nave and chancel with octagonal tower.
