Description
Thoresby, North, a parish, with a village, in Lincolnshire, with a station on the G.N.R., 148 miles from London, and 8 N by W of Louth. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office under Louth. Acreage, 2571; population, 573. There is a parish council consisting of eight members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net value, £330 with residence. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Early English style, and has been restored. There are Wesleyan and Primitive Methodist chapels.
