Description
Fiskerton, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, on the river Witham, and on the Lincoln and Boston branch of the G.N.R., with a station called Five-Mile House, 5 miles E of Lincoln, and a post office under Lincoln; monev order FIVE BELLSand telegraph office, Lincoln. Acreage, 2817; population, 423. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net value, £290 with residence. Patrons, the Dean and Chapter of Peterborough. The church is partly Norman, has a brass of 1490, and was restored in 1863. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
