Description
Chapel Hill, a chapelry in Swineshead parish, Lincolnshire, near the Lincoln and Boston branch of the G.N.R., 1 mile SSE from Dogdyke station, and 3 miles S of Tatters-hall. It is in the civil district of Pelham's Land. It has a post office under Lincoln ; money order and telegraph office, Coningsby. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Lincoln ; gross yearly value, £60. Patron, the Vicar of Swineshead. The church is a structure of brick, erected in 1884. There are Primitive Methodist and Wesleyan chapels..
