Simonswood, a township in Walton-on-the-Hill parish, Lancashire, 5 miles S by E of Ormskirk, and about 3 from Kirkby station on the L. & Y.R. Post town, Liverpool; money order and telegraph office, Kirkby. Acreage, 2645; population, 426. The Earl of Sefton is lord of the manor.
