Description
Roughlee Booth, a township in Whalley parish, Lancashire, at the E end of Pendle Forest, 3 1/2 miles W of Colne railway station, and 6 NW of Burnley. Post town, Burnley;. money order and telegraph office, Barrowford. Acreage, including part of Newchurch, 1141; population, 324. The manor belongs to the Duke of Buccleuch. There are a cotton factory and a Wesleyan chapel.
