Description
Roeburndale, a township in Melling parish, Lancashire, near the boundary with Yorkshire, 9 miles ENE of Lancaster, and about 4 from Hornby station on the M.R. Post town, Lancaster; money order and telegraph office, Homby. Acreage, 8841; population, 106. Colonel Foster of Hornby Castle is lord of the manor. Much of the land is moor and mountain.
