Lunt, a township in Sefton parish, Lancashire, on the river Alt, 1 1/2 mile from Maghull railway station, and 8 miles N of Liverpool. Post town, Liverpool; money order and telegraph office, Great Crosby. Acreage, 477; population, 83. Nearly all the property belongs to the Earl of Sefton.
