Heskin, a township in Eccleston parish, Lancashire, 4 1/2 miles SW of Chorley, and 3 from Appley Bridge station on the L. & Y.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Chorley. Acreage, 1242; population, 404. There are coal pits, quarries, and cotton mills in the neighbourhood.
