Easington, a township partly in Slaidburn parish, in the W. R. Yorkshire, on the river Hodder, near the boundary with Lancashire, 6 1/2 miles N by W of Clitheroe station on the L. & Y.R. Post town, Clitheroe; money order and telegraph office, Slaidburn. Acreage, 9199 ; population, 262.
