Description
Charnock Heath, a township in Adiington ecclesiastical parish, Lancashire, 2 1/4 miles SE by S of Chorley stations on the L. & Y.E. and L. & N.W.R. Acreage, 1598 ; population, 1062. There are brickworks, stone quarries, a cotton-mill, and charities, ££85 per annum.
