Caldecott, a parish in Herts, on the verge of the county, near Icknield Street, 3 1/2. miles N by W of Baldock station on the G.N.R. Post town and telegraph office, Baldock; money order office, Stotfield. Acreage, 326; population, 31. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St Albans; net yearly value, £69. The church is a small but ancient structure in the Perpendicular style.
