Thornbury, a parish in Herefordshire, 4 miles N by W of Bromyard and 7 SSE of Tenbury. Post town, Bromyard, under Worcester; money order and telegraph office, Bredenbury. Acreage, 2399; population of the civil parish, 193; of the ecclesiastical, 178. There are remains of a Roman camp. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; gross value, £200 with residence. The church is ancient.
