Pixley, a parish in Herefordshire, 1 mile SSE of Ashperton station on the G.W.R., and 4 miles W by N of Ledbury. Post town and money order office, Trumpet; telegraph office, Bosbury. Acreage, 1086; population of the civil parish, 144; of the ecclesiastical, 98. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; gross value, £145. The church is a small Early English edifice with a curious rood-loft.
