Description
Fawley, a chapelry in Brockhampton parish, Herefordshire, on the river Wye, 4 1/4 miles NNW of Ross. It has a station on the Hereford, Ross, and Gloucester branch of the G.W.R. Fawley Court, an Elizabethan mansion, now a farmhouse, was the seat of the Kyrles, one of whom was the " Man of Ross." There is a chapel of ease under Fownhope.
