Description
Winstone, a village and a parish in Gloucestershire, 6 1/2 miles NW by N of Cirencester. Post town, Cirencester. Acreage, 1491; population, 200. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; net value, £268 with residence. The church is Early English, and was restored in 1876. There are a Baptist chapel and a meeting-house for Plymouth Brethren.
