Description
Westcote, a parish in Gloucestershire, 4 miles SSE of Stow-on-the-Wold. Post town, Chipping Norton; money order and telegraph office, Stow-on-the-Wold. Acreage, 1548; population, 206. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; net value, £171 with residence. The church is Early English, with Perpendicular additions, and was almost entirely rebuilt in 1876 and 1886. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
