Rangeworthy, a parochial chapelry in Thornbury parish, Gloucestershire, 3 miles N of Yate station on the M.R., and 5 SE of Thornbury. It has a post and money order office under Wickwar (R.S.O.); telegraph office, Wickwar. Acreage, 896 ; population, 234. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; net value, £149. Patron, the Vicar of Thornbury. The church has three Norman arches, and was restored in 1851. There are Congregational and Wesleyan chapels.
