Description
Falfield, a tithing and an ecclesiastical parish in Thom-bury parish, Gloucestershire, 3 1/2 miles NE by E of Thorn-bury. Falfield forms with Morton a tithing. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office (E.S5.0.) Eastwood House is the chief residence. The ecclesiastical parish was constituted in 1863. Population, 529. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; gross value, £140 with residence. The church was built in 1860. There is a Congregational chapel.
