Description
Childs-Wickham, a village and a parish in Gloucestershire. The village stands on the verge of the county, 2 miles WNW of Broadway, 4 E of Hinton station on the M.R., and 6 SE of Evesham. It has a post office under Broadway; money order and telegraph office, Broadway. The parish includes also the hamlet of Murcott. Acreage, 1898; population, 400. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; net value, £190. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1870.
