Description
Willand, a parish in Devonshire, on the river Culm, 2 1/2 miles NNE of Cullompton station on the G.W.R. It has a post and money order office under Cullompton; telegraph office, Tiverton railway station. Acreage, 1012; population, 352. There is a parish council consisting of seven members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter; net value, £112 with residence. The church is an ancient building of stone in the Perpendicular style. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
