Description
Trentishoe, a parish in Devonshire, on the N coast, 12 miles NE by N of Barnstaple, and 9 from Ilfracombe station on the L. & S.W.R. Post town, Parracombe; money order and telegraph office, Combmartin. Acreage, 1586; population, 96. There are two manors. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter; net value, £90. The church was rebuilt in 1861, and is in the Early English style.
