Description
Exe, Nether, a parish in Devonshire, on the river Exe, 1 mile from Stoke Canon station on the G.W.R., and 5 1/2 miles N by E of Exeter. Post town, Thorverton under Collumpton. Acreage, 656; population, 70. The living is a perpetual curacy and titular vicarage in the diocese of Exeter; value, £71. The church is ancient, and consists of nave and chancel, with small bell turret.
