Description
Clanaborough, a parish in Devonshire, adjacent to the North Devon railway, 1 1/2 mile SSW of Copplestone station on the L. & S.W.R., and 5 1/2 miles NW by W of Crediton, Post town, Bow. Acreage, 1008; population of civil parish, 83; of ecclesiastical, 72. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Exeter; value, £138 with residence. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church was rebuilt all but the tower in 1859.
