Description
Somerford Booths, a township in Astbury parish, Cheshire, 3 miles NNW of Congleton. Acreage, 1306; population, 201. Somerford Booths Hall, the seat of the Sweltenham family, was built in 1612. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
