Meolse, Little, a township in West Kirby parish, Cheshire, on the coast, 85- miles W of Birkenhead. It includes Hoylake and Hilbre Island. Acreage, 711, with 845 of adjacent foreshore and 3048 of tidal water; population, 1962.
