Description
Dodcot-cum-Wilkesley, a township in Wrenbury-cum-Frith and Audlem parishes, Cheshire, adjacent to Salop, 3 1/2 miles SW of Audlem. It contains the hamlets of Wilkesley and part of Burley-Dam. Combermere Abbey, the seat of Viscount Combermere, is in this township. Acreage, 5756; population, 569. There is a church at Burley-Dam.
