Hawridge, a village and a parish in Bucks, adjacent to Herts, 4 miles N from Chesham station on the Metropolitan Extension railway. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Berkhampstead. Acreage, 697; population, 214. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Oxford. Patron, the Bishop of Oxford. The church, which was rebuilt in 1856, is a building of cut flint in the Early English style. It has some ancient monuments and a circular Norman font.
