Description
Edgcott, a village and a parish in Buckinghamshire, 3 miles SSW from Claydon station on the L. & N.W.R., and 7 1/4 S by W from Buckingham. Post town. Aylesbury; money order office, Grendon; telegraph office, Marsh Gibbon. Acreage, 1140 ; population, 150. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Oxford. The church is a small but ancient building of stone in the Early English style. There is a small Wesleyan chapel.
