Rudry, Glamorgan

Description
Rudry, a parish in Glamorgan, 3 miles E by S of Caerphilly. It has a post office under Cardiff; money order and telegraph office, Machen. Acreage, 2668; population, 409. There is a parish council consisting of five members. There are collieries and tinplate works. The living is annexed to the rectory of Bedwas, in the diocese of Llandaff. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1886. There is a Congregational chapel.
