Description
Nicholaston, a parish in Glamorgan, on Oxwich Bay, in the Gower Peninsula, 2 miles ENE of Penrice, and 11 WSW of Swansea. It contains the hamlet of Manselfield, and its post town is Swansea. Acreage, 486 of land, 2 of water, 2 of tidal water, and 64 of foreshore; population, 100. The living is a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Oxwich, in the diocese of St David's. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1894.
