Butter-Crambe, a village and a township in Bossall parish, in the N. R. Yorkshire, on the river Derwent, under Aldby Park Camp, 3 miles E of Sand-Hutton. Post town, York; money order and telegraph office, Stamford Bridge. Acreage of township, 2691; population, 169. It forms a vicarage with Bossall in the diocese of York; joint net value, £496.
