Ditteridge or Ditcheridge, an ecclesiastical parish in Wiltshire, on an affluent of the river Avon, half a mile N by E of Box station on the G.W.R., and 7 miles WSW of Chip-penham. Post town, Box, under Chippenham; money order and telegraph office, Box. Population, 124. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol; value, £61. The church is Norman and Early English, and in good condition.
