Description
Ufton, a village and a parish in Warwickshire, 2 1/2 miles NW of Southam Road and Harbury station on the G.W.R., and 2 1/2 W by N of Southam. Post town, Southam (S.O.) Acreage, 1793; population of the civil parish, 201; of the ecclesiastical, 269. There is a parish council consisting of five members. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester; net value, £147 with residence. Patron, the Bishop of Worcester. The church is Early English, and was repaired in 1860. In the churchyard is an ancient cross restored in 1862.
