Grandborough, a village and a parish in Warwickshire. The village stands on the river Learn, near the Oxford Canal and the boundary with Northamptonshire, 5 miles SE by E of Birdingbury station on the Rugby, Leamington, and Warwick branch of the L. & N.W.R., 6 NE of Southam, and 6 S of Rngby. It has a post office under Rugby; money order and telegraph office, Dnnchurch. The parish includes the hamlets of Woolscott and Calcutt. Acreage, 4494; population, 396. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Worcester; net value, £200 with residence. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1862. There is a Primitive Methodist chapel.
