Description
Farlow, a township and an ecclesiastical parish in Stottesden parish, Salop. The township lies near the river Reay 5 miles NW by N of Cleobury Mortimer. It has a post office under Bewdley; money order and telegraph office, Cleobury Mortimer. Acreage, 2117; population, 329. The ecclesiastical parish includes the townships of Upper and Lower Ingardine, the Low and Oreton, and was constituted in 1854. Population, 540. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £90 with residence. The church was-built in 1858, and there is a Wesleyan chapel.
