Description
Wychwood, a parish in Oxfordshire, which was formed out of the old forest of Wychwood. It is 2 miles from Charlbury station on the Oxford and Worcester section of the G.W.R., and about 4 NW by N from Witney. Post town and money order office, Witney; telegraph office, Ascott railway station. Acreage, 3782; population 212. The manor, with much of the land, belongs to the Crown. For ecclesiastical purposes the parish is annexed to Seafield.
