Horsington, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, 5 miles NE from Stixwould station on the G.N.R., and 4 W from Homcastle, with a post office under Lincoln; money order and telegraph office, Woodhall Spa. Acreage, 1992; population, 266. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net value, £189 with residence. Patron, Magdalen College, Oxford. The church was rebuilt in 1860, is in the Early English style, and consists of nave, aisle, and chancel, with tower and spire.
