Beelsby, a village and a parish in Lincolnshire, 6 miles E of Caistor, and 5 1/2 W of Waltham station on the G.N.R. Great Grimsby is the post town ; money order and telegrapli office, Waltham. Acreage, 2248; population, 190. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lincoln; net yearly value, about £260 with residence, in the gift of the Bishop of Manchester. The church was restored in 1890. It contains some good arches of the 13th century.
