Aswardby, a parish in Lincolnshire, on the river Steeping, 4 miles NW of Spilsby railway station. Post town, Spilsby, which is the money order and telegraph office. Acreage, 744; population, 89. The living is a rectory, with which the rectory of Sansthorpe was consolidated in 1882, in the diocese of Lincoln; joint gross yearly value, £454.
