Bispham, a township a village, and a parish in Lancashire. The township bears the name of Bispham-with-Norbreck, lies on the coast and on the Blackpool railway, 1 1/2 mile from the railway station, and 3 miles N of Blackpool, and has a post and money order office of Bispham under Preston; telegraph office, Cleveleys. Acreage, 1644; population of the civil parish, 467; of the ecclesiastical, 486. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Manchester; net value, £192 with residence. The church was rebuilt in 1880 -83. There is one chapel, used alternately by Wesleyans and Congregationalists, and an endowed school.
