Bossington, Hampshire

Description
Bossington, a parish in Hants, on the river Anton, and on the Roman road from Winchester to Sarum, 1 mile from Horsebridge station on the L. & S.W.R. and 3 1/2 miles SSW of Stockbridge, which is the post town. Acreage, 1593; population, 100. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the rectory of Broughton, in the diocese of Winchester. The church is a handsome edifice, of stone and flint, in the Early English style.
