Hunsonby and Winskill, a township in Addingham parish, Cumberland, on a branch of the river Eden, 1 mile from Little Salkeld station on the M.R., 4 miles SSE of Kirk-oswald, and 6 from Penrith. Post town, Carlisle; money order and telegraph office, Langwathby. Acreage, 1687; population, 282. The Dean and Chapter of Carlisle are lords of the manor. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
