Description
Etterby, a village in Stanwix parish, Cumberland, on the river Eden, near the Carlisle and Silloth railway, 1 mile NW of Carlisle railway station. Etterby Scar here commands a brilliant view over Carlisle and the surrounding plain, away to Skiddaw and Helvellyn.
